SEN East Riding LOCAL OFFER

Edition 20 -  Thursday 12 November 2020

Spotlight on... Preparing for Adulthood Checklist
Could you help us with some feedback on our Preparing for Adulthood Checklist?

The Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) checklist will act as a resource for Young People, Parents and Carer's and Professionals to support them to identify whether the key areas of PfA have been explored in the lead up to an annual review of an EHCP for students aged 14 years +.
The checklist is made up of the 4 key areas to PfA, Employment, Independent Living, Community Inclusion, Health and includes a Preparation for the Annual Review section, this can be submitted as part of the annual review paperwork to support identifying PfA outcomes within young people's EHCP's.

We are asking if you can provide any feedback on the checklist, the current content and whether you feel some sections require further development, or something is missing.
Feedback can be sent to Ben.fisher@eastriding.gov.uk by the 27 November 2020.
